OwnFi turns a PDF bank or credit card statement into a CSV on your phone: import the statement, review the parsed rows, and export a spreadsheet-ready file with dates, merchants, amounts, categories and currency. Nothing is uploaded.
Online converters ask you to upload the most sensitive document you own to a server you cannot see. OwnFi's parser runs on the device, handles password-protected PDFs, and is free.

How it works
- Import the PDF
Open the statement from Files, or share it from your bank's app to OwnFi. 27 named bank formats parse automatically; anything else goes through a review sheet.
- Check the rows
Uncertain rows are flagged for a look before saving; certain rows save straight away. Balances are reconciled against the statement's own totals.
- Export
Settings → Export gives a CSV of any period, a tax-year file, or a YNAB-format CSV. Open it in Excel, Numbers or Sheets.

Which statements does it read?
Bank and credit card PDFs from RBC, TD, Scotiabank, CIBC, BMO, Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Citi, American Express, SBI, HDFC, ICICI, Axis, MUFG, SMBC, Swedbank, Nordea and others, plus a generic layout fallback.
Does it handle scanned statements?
Image-based pages go through on-device OCR. Accuracy is lower than for text PDFs, so rows are routed to the review sheet.
Is anything uploaded?
No. The PDF, the text and the export stay on the phone.
Can I export for my accountant?
Yes. A tax-year CSV follows your jurisdiction's dates, keeps credits signed, and carries each row's currency.
What does it cost?
